I had the pleasure of celebrating Mother’s Day with my family at Umi Premium Buffet, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly despite the holiday rush — a clear sign of the restaurant’s well-organized and efficient team. What stood out immediately was the amazing variety of food. Umi offers something for everyone: fresh sushi rolls, savory ramen, perfectly cooked seafood, and even comforting soul food options like fried chicken and mac and cheese. Each station was clean, well-stocked, and bursting with flavor. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious — you can tell the chefs care about quality and freshness. A special highlight was the Mother’s Day lobster special, which was both generous and incredibly tasty. It added such a luxurious touch to an already impressive buffet and made the day feel even more special. My mother was thrilled — and full! The ambiance was modern and comfortable, perfect for both families and larger gatherings. The service team deserves a special shoutout — they were polite, fast, and attentive throughout our entire meal, making sure plates were cleared and drinks refilled without us even needing to ask. If you’re looking for a buffet that truly has it all — incredible food, efficient service, and a welcoming atmosphere — Umi Premium Buffet is the place to go. We left happy, satisfied, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend it for special occasions or any day you want to indulge!

The place is not bad, most of food very delicious, especially chicken and shrimps. Lot of option for deserts. The atmosphere also very clean. I did not like three things: 1- sushi when we were there looked not presentable and fresh. 2-plates should be washed properly or better to provide one time use plates. 3-It would be good to have hand washing place outside toilet. I went there to wash my hand, and regretted. Of course it is not fault of buffet, there was someone who come to here for different purpose:(. The smell destroyed my mood. Therefore if they have small place for hand washing outside it would be great. If I have time for sure I will come back, but first experience was not too bad

I came here with my brother to have a quick lunch. We were welcomed right away with a variety of fresh salads, all types of seafood, sushi, delicious assortment of Chinese and other Asian hot foods. Everything was delicious, fresh and the service was great. I highly recommended Umi Premium Sushi & Seafood Buffet.

Umi is the best buffet in Brooklyn! They are newly renovated, so beautiful and bright inside! There is so much variety of food from steak to seafood 🍤 my favorite is the abalone with vermicelli. There is also so much fresh sushi 🍣 there is also hotpot which I did not try- there is just too much food to try! For $40 per person it is totally worth it! I also love the unlimited drinks🍹can’t wait to come back!
